This Privacy Policy explains how imageto3dmodel.online ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website and tools.

The short version: we deliberately collect as little data as possible. Our tools run in your browser. Your images and files do not leave your device.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

The only information you can voluntarily provide to us is through our contact form: your name, email address, and message. We use this solely to respond to you.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

Like all websites, our web server logs contain your IP address and basic request metadata (page URL, browser type, timestamp) for security and uptime monitoring. These logs are retained for a maximum of 30 days and are not used for tracking.

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand aggregate site usage — which pages are visited, how long visitors stay, and which tools are used. Google Analytics uses cookies. We do not enable Google Signals, cross-device tracking, or remarketing lists. IP addresses are anonymised at collection. You can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or any standard cookie management tool.

We serve advertising through Google AdSense. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can review Google's privacy controls at adssettings.google.com.

1.3 Files and Images

For the AI-mode tools and client-side Classic tools: your images and 3D files are processed entirely in your browser. They do not leave your device and are not transmitted to our servers.

For the 3D Format Converter tool (which uses server-side re-encoding for some format combinations): your file is uploaded to our server over HTTPS, processed, the output file is returned to you, and then both files are automatically deleted within 10 minutes. No file content is logged, retained, or shared.

2. Cookies

We use the following cookies:

  • img3d-theme — remembers your light/dark mode preference. Session storage. No personal data.
  • Google Analytics — _ga, _gid cookies for aggregate analytics. Expires after 2 years / 24 hours respectively.
  • Google AdSense — ad serving and frequency capping cookies. See Google Cookie Policy.

3. How We Use Information

  • To operate and maintain the website
  • To respond to contact form submissions
  • To understand aggregate usage patterns (Analytics)
  • To serve advertisements (AdSense)
  • To detect and prevent abuse or illegal activity

We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with third parties except as described above (Google Analytics, AdSense) and as required by law.

4. Data Retention

Server logs: 30 days. Contact form submissions: until resolved, then deleted. Server-side file conversions: deleted within 10 minutes. Analytics data: 26 months (Google Analytics default).

5. Your Rights (GDPR / UK GDPR)

If you are in the EEA or UK, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict processing of, or port your personal data. Contact us at the address in Section 8. We will respond within 30 days. If you are dissatisfied, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

6. Children

This website is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal data to us, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be noted on the site.
