How It Works
Three steps from photo to printable 3D model. No account, no waiting in a queue.
Upload Your Photo
Drag and drop any JPG, PNG, or WebP image into the tool. Your file never leaves your device.
Choose AI or Classic
AI Mode runs a depth-estimation model in your browser for realistic results. Classic Mode is instant — no model loading needed.
Preview & Download
Rotate, zoom and inspect your 3D model in the browser viewer. Export as GLB, OBJ, or STL — ready for Blender, Unity, or your 3D printer.

| Feature | Typical AI 3D Generator | This site |
|---|---|---|
| Sign-up required? | ✗ Yes — account + email required before first generation | ✓ Never. Not even a cookie consent beyond what's needed. |
| Free-tier limits? | ✗ Typically 5–10 credits per month, then paid plan | ✓ Unlimited. Client-side tools cost us nothing per use. |
| Where does processing happen? | ✗ On their GPU servers — your image leaves your device | ✓ In your browser. The AI model runs on your own GPU/CPU. |
| Price to start? | ✗ Free account, then $12–$139/month for useful quotas | ✓ $0 — no payment option even exists at this stage. |

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, genuinely free. There is no catch. The AI tools run inside your browser using your own computer's processing power — we don't incur server costs per conversion, so there's nothing to charge for. We plan to show non-intrusive display ads (Google AdSense) which is how the site stays running. That's the full business model.
For the AI and Classic 3D tools, no — all processing happens in your browser. The only exception is our deterministic format converter, which optionally uploads the file to our server for re-encoding then auto-deletes it within 10 minutes. Your images are never used to train AI models and never shared with third parties. See our Privacy Policy for the full disclosure.
AI Mode loads a small depth-estimation neural network (a MiDaS-class model) into your browser. It analyses the photo to estimate where things are near and far in 3D space, then builds a mesh from that depth information. The result is more realistic but takes 5–15 seconds to load the model the first time. Classic Mode uses a simple brightness-to-height algorithm — bright pixels become raised, dark pixels recede. It's instant, requires no model download, and works well on images with clear foreground/background contrast like landscapes and aerial shots.
Yes, for the tools that export STL or 3MF files (Image to 3D Model, Photo to Lithophane, Sketch to 3D, Logo to 3D STL). Import the exported file into your slicing software (Cura, PrusaSlicer, Bambu Studio, etc.) before printing. Note that single-image depth conversion produces a surface mesh rather than a solid watertight object — you may need to add a base in your slicer or in Blender before printing, depending on your model.
Single-image depth conversion estimates the 3D shape of a subject from one viewpoint. It is good at capturing general depth relationships — foreground, midground, background — but it cannot reconstruct the back or sides of an object the camera never saw. Think of it as a very detailed bas-relief rather than a true volumetric scan. For a real multi-angle reconstruction you'd need photogrammetry (multiple photos from different angles). We're honest about this limitation because it matters for setting realistic expectations.
It depends on the tool: the flagship Image to 3D Model exports GLB, OBJ, and STL. The lithophane tool exports STL and 3MF. The format converter handles OBJ, STL, GLB, and PLY in both directions. The depth map and normal map tools export PNG. The point cloud tool exports PLY and XYZ. The 3D viewer is view-only — it doesn't export. Each tool page lists its own export options clearly.
The site and Classic Mode tools work on all modern mobile browsers. AI Mode works on mobile but loads and runs slower because mobile GPUs are less powerful than desktop ones. We recommend using Chrome or Safari on a reasonably recent phone for the best experience. If AI Mode is too slow on your device, Classic Mode is always available as an instant fallback.
